Slagwerk Den Haag is a Dutch percussion collective specializing in sound-development from an innovative perspective.

Slagwerk Den Haag is fascinated by everything concerned with sound, pulse and materials that produce sound.

Slagwerk Den Haag is mapping the DNA of the hybrid percussionist to be 3D-printed in 2050.

Slagwerk Den Haag’s vast instrument range includes anything from marimba’s and drums to cactus plants and amplified donkey jaws to digital muscle sensors, synthesizers and .. plane bytes.

Slagwerk Den Haag performs virtuoso music scores by reknown contemporary classical composers as Steve Reich, Philip Glass, Louis Andriessen and Yannis Kyriakides to new soundscapes by eclectic producers.

Slagwerk Den Haag reaches out to some 55.000 physical visitors with about 150 performances per year.
